Description
Summary:One of the products of health insurance is critical illness insurance with benefits provided at the same time, if the policy holder is attacked by a critical illness during the contract period. In this thesis, the application of the Markov chain model with four conditions is used to construct a mortality table, which considers every possible situation in breast cancer patients. The table was built with a resampling approach to breast cancer patient data obtained from Hasan Sadikin Hospital from January 2011 to December 2016. Furthermore, the mortality table is used to estimate the opportunity and rate of transfer of the condition of this critical illness patient. It was found that policyholders in the 40-45 years age range had the highest premium payment estimates
