Indonesian people recognize two medical practices that are based on two different views, namely rational medical practices and irrational occult practices (klenik). The existence of these two medical practices is part of the culture of the people in Indonesia which according to the writer is important to be responded to through art. This artwork aims to represent the world of medicine in Indonesia through objects within the scope of klenik and medical practice in Indonesia using readymades techniques. In the process of its creation, theory of visual culture, contemporary art, and readymades were used as a foundation for the work. Through this work, the writer found that the artwork can reflect the influence of the socio-cultural background on writer’s ideas as an artist in his work, especially the writer's view of rational and irrational matters in the world of medicine in Indonesia. In addition, the technique of presenting readymades can be used to represent klenik and medical practices to the appreciators by bringing up variations in the interpretive process of the appreciators according to the varied socio-cultural backgrounds of the appreciators.
