Summary: | The use of crowdsourcing applications in smartphones in the business is now increasingly expanded. One of the example is a mobile online survey that uses panels for conducting online surveys. A panel is a collection of units, individuals recruited to participate in repeated surveys. Jajak Pendapat (JAKPAT) is one of online survey mobile applications in Indonesia. JAKPAT provides rewards that can motivate the panel to continue participating in the survey. Design of experiment was used to determine which rewards combination matches the JAKPAT panel preference. The factors tested in the experiment consisted of two factor designs and four covariates. The design factor tested was form of rewards, consisting of four levels, namely money, phone credit, Tokopedia vouchers and Cinema vouchers, and then nominal rewards consisting of four levels namely Rp10,000, Rp20,000, Rp50,000 and Rp100,000. The covariate variables tested were gender, redeem frequency, motive, and total balance. There were two response variables tested, namely the percentage of the balance exchanged and the decision to redeem rewards. From the results of the prediction of factors on the percentage response variables using multiple linear regression obtained that the form, nominal and interaction between form and nominal have a significant effect, while the results of the prediction of factors on the rewards exchange response variable decision using logistic regression obtained that the form, nominal, gender and interaction between form and nominal have a significant effect. Money and phone credit are known to still be the most desirable rewards and are proposed to be retained as the main rewards, while vouchers do not have urgency but can be provided to add rewards variations. For nominal terms, a nominal value of Rp 100,000 gives the highest proportion value in each category. |
