Description
Summary:The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended Rotavirus immunization programme for all countries, including Indonesia. To support the program, PT BFM plans to develop a Rotavirus vaccine. PT BFM wants to know whether the Rotavirus vaccine development project is feasible to run or not. In conducting the feasibility study, the steps undertaken are the identification of external and internal conditions of the company and the preparation of a SWOT matrix using the Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, and Legal (PESTEL) method and functional approach. Financial feasibility study is carried out by preparing discounted cash flow to calculate Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The results showed that the Rotavirus vaccine development project was feasible to run. But there are still potential risks that may occur in the course of the project that can affect the feasibility of the project. To find out the variables that affect the feasibility of the project and to determine the probability of project feasibility, sensitivity analysis and Monte Carlo simulation are carried out.
