However, the metro capsule does not have a maintenance procedure yet so that the operation will not allowed by the goverment. In addition, metro capsule as a public transportation must ensure the safety and comfort of passengers who use them. The safety and comfort of these passengers depends on the performance of the equipment used in this vehicle. To maintain optimum performance of the equipments, metro capsule operations require maintenance activities. Therefore, this final project was made to plan maintenance activities of metro capsule, especially metro capsule’s structure components. The process of planning the maintenance activities was carried out by using the reliability-centered maintenance (RCM). This process began with creating the equipment hierarchy. The subsystems or sub-subsystems of the hierarchy were applied in the RCM method. Then, the results of RCM method, which is RCM decision worksheets, were used to make maintenance procedures. Format which was applied in procedures is determined based on the needs of metro capsule developer with its contents include the maintenance tasks and its intervals as results of RCM method. The results of this final project are maintenance tasks that were determined by the RCM method and the maintenance procedures which were made based on the maintenance tasks that had been obtained. text |
