DRY ELECTRODE CAP DESIGN FOR EEG RECORDING WITH STANDARDS 10-20 ELECTRODE PLACEMENT SYSTEM

Electroencephalographic Signal (EEG) is a signal obtained by recording the electrical activity of the brain taken from the scalp using conductive media such as electrodes. EEG is used to detect impaired function of the brain. Electrode placement is an important process because the position of each e...

EEG is used to detect impaired function of the brain. Electrode placement is an important process because the position of each electrode has a different function. In general, to place an electrode requires a number of measurements manually. This measurement is inefficient in terms of time because it adjusts the number of electrodes used. Therefore, in this final project the design and realization of the dry electrode cap is done using a 10-20 electrode placement system. From the results of testing this electrode cap has an accuracy by 84% with a tolerance of shifting the position of each electrode by 10%. text
