Description
Summary:Sarbagita Regional Landfill service area is Denpasar City, Badung Regency, Gianyar Regency, and Tabanan Regency. The average accumulation of waste entering Sarbagita Regional Landfill in December 2017 reached 5169,8 m 3 /day. Bali Provincial Government with PT. PLN (PERSERO) has reached an agreement regarding the supply and processing of waste with the Waste Electric Power Plant (PLTSa) at the Sarbagita Regional Landfill in October 2018. This program can reduce waste to landfills and extended the service life of Sarbagita Regional Landfill. To support the operation of PLTSa, it will be planned to build a waste pre treatment facility, the Material Recovery Facility (MRF). The MRF planning period for 20 years with operations beginning in 2021. Based on analysis, in 2021 the total waste to the landfill was 1005.42 tons/day, while in 2031 and 2041 the total waste was 1429.54 tons/day and 1805.68 tons/day. The composition of waste in Sarbagita Regional Landfill is dominated by organic waste which is 63.10%, paper 21.58%, and plastic 10.64%. From the analysis of waste characteristics the moisture content value of the Sarbagita Regional Landfill waste is 68.45% wet weight and C/N ratio is 20,71. Based on these results organic waste (food waste & garden waste) is planned to be sorted so it does not become a part feedstock to PLTSa. The processing used in MRF is bag opening (manual), trommel screen, manual sorting (for metal, glass and B3 waste), windrow composting for biological waste processing, metal and glass crusher for metal and glass waste processing. From the calculation carried out with a projection of 20 years service period to build MRF, an area of 25137,2761 m 2 is needed. The budget plan development based on the technical specifications to build MRF is set at Rp. 55.114.700.000,00
