Summary:Container trucks activities such as entering and exiting are kind of activities that happen at Gedebage container terminal. In order to control this container trucks activities at Gedebage terminal, then the thing that being needed is an automatic gate which installed on the entrance and exit area at container terminal. As well as the technology development, the gate has been designed by creating automatic control system that using remote control which very useful to simplify the truck to enter and exit the container terminal and to make the efficiency of dwelling time at the port. One of the technologies that suitable for being applied at automatic gate system is iBeacon, because there is no direct contact being needed on iBeacon communication. Then, this means that ibeacon is suitable for being used as proximity sensor at the system that runs automatically. IBeacon is being installed at container truck that being registered in monitoring system at database server. The result of this research is an automatic gate system by using iBeacon as the sensor that has been tagged at container truck. The entering and exiting activity of the container truck is being organized by client server with user interface which is a webserver that has been connected with MQTT protocol.
