Summary: | Problems that are found in this project are soil dominated by clay soil with soft density. One of the major concerns regarding this soil are large settlement will occur in the future. Therefore, in this project, soil improvement in the form of Prefabricated Vertical Drain will be used to anticipate this large settlement.
Foundation is also one of important aspect in the structure because of its function to support strucutre loads and transfer loads from structure to the soil. To fulfill its function, deep foundation with bored pile types will be used and designed according the amount of load that are needed to be transferred to the soil.
Basement is one of the important necessity because it is needed to be able to accommodate visitor’s vehicles considering that amount of theater’s capacity which can accommodate to 1500 people. Retaining wall are used to prevent the movement of soil into basement during excavation. Type and specification of retaining wall must be well thought and designed to cope with various condition and limitation in hope to be able to achieve strength, stability, and safety requirement. PLAXIS application will be used to model a retaining wall with its soil properties.
Site construction management in this project are consist of preparation works, earthworks, and sub structure works. These works will be carried out manually and with heavy equipment. The results of scheduling simulation in this project gives total duration of 402 days and estimated cost to implement this project reaching Rp2.400.000 / m2 |
