INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/43584 Mathematics lessons are often regarded as difficult subjects, these factors are caused by the lack of books and teaching media, and their ineffectiveness in delivering abstract and elusive mathematics subject matter. One way to understand mathematical concepts is by mathematical modeling that can visualize mathematical problems so that mathematics can be easily understood. Modeling bar is mathematical modeling that can help students to visualize mathematical abstract relations in the form of images, besides that the modeling bar is easily drawn and divided because it only uses rectangular blocks. The design method used is the development model of ADDIE instructional design learning (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). From the results of data collection conducted by elementary school students at Al-Amin Elementary School, they have difficulty learning in working on math problems, especially in story problems. The results of this study show an increase in the results of student learning scores which were originally averaged below the minimum completeness criteria to be averaged at the minimum completeness criteria after using interactive media bar modeling. text |
