Summary: | The Lifestyle Based Shopping Center on Jalan Jendral Sudirman Palembang consists of 5 floors and 2 basements. The design of building structures must be adjusted to the structure of the building. Upper and underground structure analysis is done separately using Two Stage Analysis Procedure. The Upper Structure contains the North Building and South Building which are dilated as far as 100 milimeters and the analysis must be done separately. Those strucutres system are combination of Special Moment Resisting Frame and Special Reinforced Concrete Shear Walls. Structural analysis shows that the structures meet the requirements regarding interstrory drifts, dual system, two stage analysis, P-Delta and vertical deflection. However, there are horizontal and vertical irregularities with the magnification of the force in the diaphragm design. The structural elements consist of concrete and steel elements. For concrete elements, structural details include reinforcement of beams, plates, columns, beam-column joints, shear walls and diaphragms. In steel element joints, several types of bolt and welding connections are used. In steel to concrete connections, anchor bolt connections are used which are planted into concrete. |
