Summary:The construction of multi tower buildings has been many in Indonesia. With the improvement of technology, current multi tower buildings can be modeled in a single structure model which consists of some towers that are being put together on a single podium. Each tower has its own height and analysis output and the analysis output for every tower can be received from current sophisticated softwares. By making one structure model that consists of many towers, it results in structural behavior datas and analysis output that represents the behavior of the entire multi tower building. In this final assignment, there will be a study of method that we did in the pas when technologies and softwares that were available were not as advanced as current period, which is the analysis that would be done step by step from each tower to another tower by making separated models for each tower so we would get the behavior data and analysis result of the structure separately. Therefore in this final assignment, there will be study of multi tower buiding if it is modeled unseparately and if it is modeled separately by making separate models for each tower in the building. The location of the building is in Jakarta with Seismic Design Category (D). Building is designed to be seismically resistant with duat structure system that consists of Special Moment Bearer Frame System (SRPMK) and Special Structural Wall System (SDSK). Modelling for structure is done by software ETABS 2016. Earthquake loading analysis is done by static equivalent method and respon spectrum analysis that is based on SNI 1726-2012. Structural elements design is based on SNI 2847-2013. From the making of this final assignment, it is hoped that it will give final result which is the study result of two different methods of multi tower building design and the correct design method along with detailing technical drawings of multi tower structural components.
