Description
Summary:The design of a budget hotel is located on Jalan KH. Wahid Hasyim, Central Jakarta. Site selection considers the level of economic activity that supports the needs of budget hotels in Central Jakarta. Budget hotels with relatively inexpensive rental fees become a magnet for people who need short-term accommodations. This triggers the need for hotels with efficient construction. The hotel design uses a modular prefabricated approach to improve efficiency in terms of construction. The hotel typology supports the use of modular, typical room shapes. The prefabricated level used is modular in which module elements are assembled in a factory manufacturing process until they are finished and then assembled into an intact building on the site with other modules. Module types designed are room, stairs, elevator and housekeeping modules. The room modules are divided into standard rooms and deluxe rooms with different room sizes. The stairs module is used on a typical floor and also the ground floor with floor-tofloor height adjustment. Using the modular prefabrication method saves up to 50% of the processing time. The hotel design is divided into site and building design. The design of the hotel site is carried out by considering the modular construction process at the preparation stage, specifically for the laying of a crane and the hoisting process. Building design starts with designing a typical floor layout with the type of module that has been designed. This layout also forms the building period. The building facade is formed from laying balcony modules in a randomly designed standard room. Then the ground floor and first floor adjust the typical floor. This floor accommodates the needs of hotel public spaces and hotel management rooms
