Description
Summary:Access to Bunyu Island is only available by sea, but Bunyu Island does not have its own port used for sea transportation. So far, the people of Bunyu Island still use the port owned by PT Pertamina Bunyu EP Field. Over time the berth owned by PT Pertamina suffered damage due to the frequency of ships that berth there. Therefore need a port that can handle the activities of the people of Bunyu Island This Final Project about Design of Deck on Pile Cargo Berth in Port Of Bunyu, Bulungan, Kalimantan Utara will discuss about design of berth and trestle structure based on criteria design that used as structural design requirements by considering existing condition at the study location. The scope of design consists of determining berth and trestle dimensions, structural modelling, structural reinforcement design, and calculation of soil capacity. Structure modelling is analyzed by SAP2000 to determine the reliability of the structure of the loads that work. The result of the analysis is Unity Check Ratio, structure deflection, force in beam and plate, and structure reaction. UCR checking is for a reference of reliable and optimal structure design with values in the range of 0.5 to 1.0. Deflection checking is for structure serviceability aspect with a value below the deflection limit. Whereas, reinforcement ratio is for determining optimum cross-sectional area The result of this Final Project consists of structure dimension and element structural dimension of berth and trestle, detail of reinforcement based on working force, and design plan depth that can withstand structural reactions based on geotechnical data..
