The deposits contained in the Bakan Site are high sulphidation gold deposits which one of the characteristic is the existence of alteration. In addition to alteration, there are also quite a few geological structures that can affect the stability of the slope in the Main Ridge Pit. One of the analysis that is suitable with the structure of the discontinuity is kinematic analysis, where analysis considers the structure of the discontinuity, slope geometry, and the friction angle of the materials of the slope wall. The software used in the kinematic analysis in this study is Dips 6.0. The data used are the results of the measurement of the orientation of the slope and the discontinuity from window mapping method, as well as laboratory test results that is friction angles of material. Based on the results of projections from the software Dips 6.0, Pit Main Ridge RL 810-820 is at risk of 2 types of failure that can occur on the slopes, such as plane failure and wedge failure. In determining the plane failure potential, there are 2 segments that have the potential of failure, which are the FFGG and GGHH segments with probability 25% each, that are both Argillic alterations. As for wedge failure, there are 5 segments that have the potential of failure with their respective probabilities, such as AB Argillic segment 15.26%, BC Argillic 25%, JK Advance Argillic 0.72%, VW Argillic 16.67%, and XY Argillic segment 0.95%. Therefore, the recommendation of geometry for the FFGG segment is 32 ° and GGHH is 30 °. The AB segment becomes 25 °, BC becomes 24 °, JK becomes 35 °, VW becomes 28 °, and XY becomes 24 °. text
