Planning the lower structure for The 29-Storey Apartment Project in Bekasi includes planning of retaining wall, lateral retaining system, design of deep foundations, design of pile cap and design of connection for kingpostbored pile. The retaining wall that is used is a diaphragm wall with dimensions of 750mm thick and 14m long, and concrete yield strength 35Mpa. The lateral retaining system uses selected plates : Ground Floor and Basement 1. Then compared to the requirements of SNI 8460. The reinforcement design based on SNI 2847 obtained longitudinal reinforcement D32-200. The foundation that is used is a bored pile, and is designed differently for piles in the mall zone and piles in the tower zone. The pile design is then examined for bearing capacity, soil settlement, and lateral capacity based on the requirements of SNI 8460. From the analysis it is found that the design foundation pile meets all the requirements, so that it can be used. The design of longitundinal and shear reinforcement (spiral reinforcement) was designed based on SNI 2847, obtained longitudinal reinforcement 20D29 for D = 1.2m and 12D25 for D = 0.8m, and spiral shear reinforcement used D13- 45 and D13-400 for binder. Pile Cap thickness is designed to be resistant to punching shears. The design thickness is 2000mm. The design of the pile cap is obtained longitudinal reinforcement D29-200 for the top and D32-160 for the bottom. The dimensions of the tie beam are 40cm wide and 70cm high, with 8D32 longitudinal reinforcement and 2D13-170 shear reinforcement. Kingpost-foundation column joints use 4-row steel stud anchors with one row consisting of 12 stud anchors, and the kingpost column is planted 1.6m deep into the foundation pillars. text
