Summary: | The design of commuter line station in Tangerang includes the transportation
aspect. Transportation design includes total demand of parking volume, parking
pavement system, and railway design. The design consider informations from
secondary parking data from an identical station as a benchmark on calculating
the proportion of parking demang of cars and motorcycle. Then, it requires the
data of occupancy level in surrounding area to understand the parking volume
demand. It also requires train spesification to know the capacity of passenger in
order to decide the railway type.
Literatures that are important are mostly guidelines on parking design, tailway
technical procedure, and road pavement. Road pavement design considers two
important methods such as component analysis method and AASHTO 1993 to
calculate the thickness of pavement required based on the actual parking demand.
Pavement system with component analysis method extract the needs of
surface layer with 7,5 cm thickness of Hot Rolled Asphalt, base layer with 20 cm
of Upper Laston, and subbase layer with 12,5 cm of sandy soil.
Through AASHTO 1993, it is estimated that the surface layer needs 12,7 cm
thickness of Concrete Asphalt, base layer with 3,81 cm thickness of granulae, and
subbase layer with 50,8 cm thickness of granulae.
Railway pavement system accomodates train with maximum speed of 100
km/hr using type III railway. Railway with length of 320 m needs the total of 104
segment of type R54 rail with each segment stretched 25 m long. The railpad is
pretension concrete as much as 2.136 units. The tether type is using double elastic
tether of E-Clip Pandrol produced by PT Pindad as much as 8.544 units. |
