There are many buildings with European architecture that store special memories and meanings and also record the traces of the past. Conservation activities are believed to be an effort to manage the face of the city that shows continuity with history while still being able to provide services to the community in fulfilling their dynamic lives. Today's complex urban problems have caused the existence of most architectural works in Bandung to be threatened and ultimately also threaten the existence of the city. Utilization of cultural heritage buildings has not been matched by high public appreciation of cultural heritage buildings. This study aims to look at the effort to conserve cultural heritage buildings in Bandung with a case study in Braga area, the role of the community and stakeholders involved in the implementation of cultural heritage buildings conservation and scenarios of cultural heritage buildings conservation in the future. This study uses a qualitative approach by looking at the phenomena that occur in the cultural heritage building in Braga Area and the actors involved in encouraging or inhibiting the cultural heritage buildings conservation efforts. Stakeholders who play a role in the conservation of cultural heritage buildings are divided into two elements, namely the government (government and non-government institutions) and the community (owners/managers of cultural heritage buildings, Bandung Heritage, media). Conflicts that occur between stakeholders are conflicts of interest between economic assets and heritage. The existence of the community as a representation of the community is able to encourage policy changes in the effort to conserve cultural heritage buildings. Relationships that occur between stakeholders are able to expand the network and cooperation in efforts to conserve cultural heritage buildings. text
