One simple method to test the quality of airborne gravity data is a cross-over with free-air reduction as the method to change the height of the gravity data. The assumption that there is no masses effect on free-air reduction determines the cross-over analysis result. The results of the cross-over analysis of the airborne gravity data with free-air reduction indicate the existence of outlier in the data. Based on these results, cross-over analysis with free-air reduction can be used for the purposes of detecting outliers in airborne gravity data. text |
