Description
Summary:Fulfillment of inter-island connectivity in Indonesia, especially for passengers, can be realized through strait crossings facilitated by ferries as the mode of transportation and ports as the required transportation infrastructure. One of them is between Java and Sumatra. Ferry and port facilities on both islands are urgently needed to facilitate the growing trip demand. In 2045, it is projected that the trip demand for passengers is as many as 1,691,697 people and as many as 2,946,286 for vehicles. This demand can be realized through Bakauheni Ferry Port, Lampung, in Sumatra Island. The scope of this Final Project includes the making of Work Breakdown Structure, planning construction methods, calculating work volume, determining duration based on productivity, designing a schedule based on duration and logic of work dependency, and estimating project costs in detail. The work volume calculation is done manually, based on the detailed design of each facility. The determination of duration of work is based on productivity based on heavy equipment lead resouces and workforce lead resources. Then, a construction schedule is made based on work duration and logic dependency. Detailed cost estimation is done using two methods, unit price using SNI and Permen PUPR No. 28 of 2016 Appendix, and enumeration resources using the author’s analysis. The Bakauheni Ferry Port project is planned to be implemented from October 1, 2019 to January 23, 2021 for a total duration of 456 days. Preparatory work was carried out for 66 days, terminal’s substructure work for 140 days, terminal’s superstructure work for for 194 days, sea-side infrastructure work for 342 days, drainage work for 160 days, and pavement work for the port area for 350 days. The project direct costs are Rp.335,421,876,127, with the percentage of costs being 8.113% for preparatory work, 16.069% for terminal’s substructure work, 10.845% for terminal’s superstructure work, 12.875% for sea-side work, 8.804% for drainage work, and 43.295% for pavement work in the port area. After adding direct cost with indirect costs and tax, the cost budget plan obtained for the project are Rp.428,386,794,190.
