Summary:Internal combustion engine is an energy coversion tool widely used in industrial and transportation sectors. The use of internal combustion engine is still very bulk and almost used every day. The level of motor performance and efficiency is a factor to be considered. The design of internal combustion engine greatly affects both things. To get a good level of performance and efficiency, good design is required as well. Therefore, in designing internal combustion engine required a software that can help the design process. One of the software that can be used is WaveBuild. WaveBuild is a software that can be used to design and simulate internal combustion engines. As a bachelor’s degree in engineering, especially in the field of machinery, it is usual for students to design and simulate internal combustion engine with their own design. Students at least understand the basic concept in designing internal combustion system. With the help of WaveBuild software, students are expected to be able to design and simulate internal combustion engines with their own design. However, students need a module that can guide the use of this software. For that required a module that can help students use this software. This module should contain the basic aspects of WaveBuild software, such as a system input, simulation procedures, and simulation output results. Particularry the procedure section, this module should be able to direct users to perform the simulation from start to finish clearly and systematically.
