The Citarum River is the main river and one of the largest rivers in Java that has many benefits to the people of West Java. But the current Citarum condition is in a critical condition. One of the most important problems is a lot of garbage in the Citarum River flow. Until the Citarum River gets the title of the dirtiest river in the world by the World Bank. These problems not only become an environmental problem but have an impact on the social life. People awareness to be able to preserve the Citarum river is not so high, especially the millennial generation. There are still many teenagers who do not know or are not very concerned about the problems of the Citarum River. Even though the government is currently promoting the movement “Citarum harum”. This issue related to the way of introducing Citarum programs that often seems boring and way too much dictation so that they do not attract the attention of millennial generations. There are plenty of ways in introducing about Citarum problems to young generation, and one of them is through a popular media such as comic book. Reader's participation is pretty much needed in reading comic, to be able to understand the storyline. Some conclusion and concept for visual process is based from doing texts analysis from Citarum research journal and also interview with Citarum researchers. Suitable way of character selection, illustration style and paneling in order to convey the story content. Other than that, design character and background image are not only as a background or complementary objects but also as a part of the story. Information, story, and environment of Citarum problems can be conveyed to the readers by applying those concepts.
