Geologically, the research area is located in onshore North West Java (ONWJ) Basin. The number of well that used to research was nine wells which were exploration wells of PT Pertamina EP. Geochemical evaluation was carried out on 228 rock samples which validate become 35 rock samples to determine the quantity, quality, and maturity of organic material in each formation. Biomarker analysis of rocks was carried out on 6 samples, biomarker analysis was carried out of oil on 9 samples, and characteristic gas analysis was carried out on 19 samples to determine correlation between source rock, oil, and gas. One-dimensional modelling of WP-6 using Petromod 2017.1 software was carried out to represent geological history and maturity history. Geochemical analysis shows Jatibarang Formation and Talangakar Formation are the most potential formation. Biomarker analysis shows that between oil samples originated from different depositional environment which are terrestrial and lacustrine depositional environment. Based on geochemical characteristic gas analysis, sample gas generally is a thermogenic gas, associated gas with oil/condensate with organic matter from marine depositional environment. Correlation between source rock and oil show oil sample from WP-2 well positively correlated with source rock of Talangakar Formation. Correlation between oil and oil show two oil families, which are oil with terrestrial depositional environment and oil with lacustrine environment. Correlation between source rock and gas show different origin of organic matter indicating negative correlation. One-dimensional burial history basin modelling of WP-6 shows two phases of formation of the basin namely syn-rift (50-23 million years ago) and post-rift (23 million years ago-now). Thermal history modelling shows early mature occurred on Jatibarang Formation in 23.75 million years ago. Recently, early mature occurred at a depth of 2380 meters on Jatibarang Formation. text |
