The seed of melinjo contains a group of stilbenoid bioactive compounds such as resveratrol and gnetin C which show antioxidant activity. This study aims to exploretion anti aging potency of melinjo seed endosperm powder (SEBM), compare with melinjo seed endosperm submicron with the addition of poloxamer 188 (SEBP), melinjo seed endosperm extract (EEBM), and genetron (GENE). Activity tests were carried out with DPPH method and in vivo as well using Wistar strain rats exposed to UV B radiation to the dorsal skin, 4 times a week for 10 weeks and subsequently were given the test preparation (p.o) every day. Ball Milling was used to produce the melinjo seed submicron powder. Identification performed with thin-layer chromatography (TLC) method show Rf values of gnetin c and resveratrol were 0.67 and 0.72, respectively. Determination of the concentration was carried out using the highperformance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method. In vitro antioxidant activity test by the DPPH method resulted in IC50 values of SEBM 14879.76 ± 32.307 µg/mL, SEBP 14619.35 ± 1.469 µg/mL, EEBM 433.279 ± 0.288 µg/mL, and GENE 502.310 ± 1.192 µg/mL. In vivo activity test by observations in the form of pinch tests, wrinkle scores and SIRT1 levels in the SEBM group (p<0.05) showed potencial activity as anti-aging. Based on these results, we address the potential application of melinjo seed endosperm powder has potential as a natural anti-aging. Futher study to investigate the mechanism action is remained consider support this conclution. text
