ANALYSIS ON ACCEPTANCE READINESS OF THE USE OF ONLINE SAFETY REPORT FOR EMPLOYEES IN PT. TERMINAL PETIKEMAS SURABAYA USING TECHNOLOGY READINESS INDEX (TRI)

The purpose of this study is to measure the level of employee readiness when online safety reporting is applied. The method used is quantitative, in order to get a specific and measurable picture. The method is to spread the questionnaire based on the variables of TRI and TAM and their derivatives in the form of variable manifests. The data is then analysed using path analysis PLS SEM with Smart PLS application. The results shows that there was a significant influence between Optimism, Innovativeness, Insecurity, and Discomfort (TRI) with Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness (TAM). It means that PT TPS employees has a good readiness to accept the use of new technology of safety report using online application. Based on the result, it is recommended that the management of PT TPS conduct the following steps of implementation: 1. Build top management commitment to the use of information and communication technology for safety reporting 2. Improve telecommunications facilities and infrastructure that is adequate 3. Conduct information dissemination on the use of safety reporting online and its benefits.
