Since the enactment of regional autonomy in Indonesia, Regional Governments have the authority to manage their regions, including in agriculture. However, the implementation of policies in the era of regional autonomy has not yet had a good impact on agricultural trade, especially for farmers. Problems that arise are not just farmers' faults. There is also negligence from local governments that do not take proper measures for business actors in the agricultural sector. Therefore, this study will analyze policies that can be applied by West Java Province Government to improve the agricultural trade system in West Java Province. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Secondary data collection is done by compiling a strategic plan from 18 districts and 9 cities in West Java Province. This strategic plan was obtained from the website of each local government. The data analyzed were only data related to agriculture in each region. Based on the Strategic Plan analysis, there are some similar problems encountered in several regencies/cities in West Java Province, such as the agricultural products quality and technology in agriculture. To improve the agricultural trade system in West Java, several policies that need to be implemented by West Java Government are the implementation of technology in agriculture as well as improvements to infrastructure and facilities in the agricultural sector. The implementation of e-budgeting also needs to be done so the budgeting plan carried out by West Java Government becomes better in this era of regional autonomy. text |
