The research area is located within the Senakin Mine area which is a mining area owned by PT. Arutmin Indonesia. This study aims to determine the geological order, the economic potential of coal resources, and the coal seam model. Research area located in Asem-Asem Basin. The research area is divided into three geomorphological units, namely the Kelumpang Tengah Plain Unit, Kelumpang Tengah Homoclin Hills Unit, and the Kelumpang Tengah Intrusion Hills Unit. The stratigraphy of the study area is divided into five unofficial units from oldest to youngest: Sandstone Unit 1, Claystone Unit 1, Sandstone Unit 2, Claystone Unit 2, and Basalt Unit. Sandstone Unit 1, Claystone Unit 1, and Sandstone Unit 2 were deposited conformity at the Eocene age with the upper delta plain - lower delta plain depositional environment. Claystone Unit 2 was deposited at the age of Oligocene - Early Miocene with transitional lower delta plain - lower delta plain depositional environment and deposited conformity upper the Sandstone Unit 2. The Basalt Unit is an intrusive rock that intruding Sandstone Unit 1, Sandstone Unit 1, and Sandstone Unit 2 at the age of the Early Miocene. Fault structures mapped in the study area are North Tanah Rata Normal Right Slip Fault and East Tanah Rata Reverse Right Slip Fault. Coal in the study area is divided into 3 coal seams, namely Coal Seam A, Coal Seam B and Coal Seam C. The coal characteristics in the study area are generally black, compact, metallic-resin, and brittle. Coal in the study area has the quality of bituminous coal. Resource calculation and coal modeling using Geovia Surpac software. The results of the modeling that have been made obtained the amount of resources in the category of inferred resources for Coal Seam A resources 3.378.780 ton witc calorific value 6932 cal/g GAR, Coal Seam B resources 34.627.259 ton with calorific value 5851 cal/g GAR, and Coal Seam C resources 14.210.790 ton with calorific value 6330 cal/g GAR. text |
