of mining mud material. Mud is a liquid or half liquid material formed from a
mixture of water and soil. Special techniques are needed so that production targets
are achieved.
PT Arutmin Indonesia Senakin Mine found a problem related to the mining of mud
material in pit 8 mining. Mud must be cleaned up immediately so that coal mining
can be carried out. In the mud removal activity at pit 8, Senakin Mine operates the
Hitachi 1200 excavator as a digging device and the CAT 777D dumptruck as a
conveyance. From the observations obtained a match factor value of 0.47 and 0.54.
Even though the match factor values are 0.47 and 0.54, the mud production target
has been reached. Therefore there is no need to add transportation units because the
production target has been reached. The productivity value of Hitachi 1200
excavators is 140 BCM / Hour and 129 BCM / Hour. While the productivity value
of the CAT 777D dumptruck is 40 BCM / Hour and 45 BCM / Hour for one
dumptruck unit. The production target set is 3500 BCM within 2 days. |
