NETWORK GOVERNANCE OF RURAL TOURISM IN DESA WISATA DIENG KULON

Tourism is one of the approaches used to improve the welfare and economy of the community, including rural areas. Desa Dieng Kulon in Kabupaten Banjarnegara is one of the villages that has been transformed into a tourist village and has succeeded in improving the economy of its people in recent years. The implementation of rural tourism cannot be separeted from governance and actors who interact with each other and form a network. This study focuses on the network of actors in rural tourism governance by looking at the effectiveness that exists in the implementation of tourism in the Dieng Kulon Tourism Village. The research method used is an exploratory sequential mix-method. The key actors in this study are the Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kab. Banjarnegara, Pokdarwis Dieng Pandawa, serta Kepala Desa Dieng Kulon. The form of network governance in the study location is based on the results of the analysis, namely Lead-Organization Network Governance. The level of effectiveness of network governance is seen based on trust, the number of participants, goals consensus, and competency level that exists in the study location.
