one of the priority program by the Kemendes PDTT. But on the other hand, the
characteristic of the isolated rural area becomes a problem for a BUMDes to be able
to overcome the obsctacle that causes can not be resolved by it self. Therefore, it
takes a role of social capital that needs to be further known its influence in each
stage of the development of the BUMDes. Tirta Mandiri BUMDes, as one of the best
national BUMDes can be used as a model to see the role of social capital in
developing BUMDes. The purpose of this study is to identify the process of
developing social capital in the development of the Tirta Mandiri BUMDes. The
components that are used to identify the social capital are networks, trusts and
norms. While the analysis used is qualitative analysis to explore and interpret the
phenomena that occur. Based on the analysis, it was found that in the beginning, the
development process of Tirta Mandiri BUMDes relied more on bonding social
capital to mobilize the citizen of Ponggok Village to participate in the development
of BUMDes and in the last stage, relied on a bridging social capital to involve
external stakeholder, so that stakeholder can collaborate to achieve collective action
in increasing the rural economy. While the social capital linking plays a role in
allocating the resources needed in the development of BUMDes through the
ownership of power from the authorites to hand over the resources |
