Summary:Online transportation’s appearance in everyday life helps human and goods’ movement, specifically work and school trip. Yet, its presence makes public transportation (angkutan kota, generally known as angkot) use drops and makes residents leave public transport for traveling. Although online transportations considered giving more profit for traveling, residents in Bandung City are not separated directly from using public transportation and means that public transportation is still needed, particularly to support Bandung Urban Mobility Project 2030 as feeder transportation. This study was conducted so the use of public transportation increases to support better public transportation. The research uses logit binary model to determine the policy to increase the use of public transportation. Analysis shows four variables are affecting mode choice between public transportation and online transportation, namely safety, comfort, availbility, and regularity by the formula Uang – Uonl = -0,883 + 2,41 X1 + 2,919 X2 + 2,115 X3 + 2,757 X4. The chance of public’s transportation based on utility function is 81,6% and 18,4% for online transportation. Sensitivity scenario shows that even though comfort is the most sensitive factor towards changes in modal selection chances, the safety factor is the one which need to be intervened because its low qualitative score yet quite sensitive towards change in mode choice.
