| Summary: | Illegal racing is a commonplace thing in Jakarta. Some of them do illegal racing,
which is illegal and dangerous, because public roads are not designed for racing. BSD
Street Circuit is an innovation to solve the problem. As a legal racing circuit, BSD
Street Circuit should comply the circuit safety regulations. The purpose of this study
is to identify the compatibality of BSD Street Circuit sefety to the applicable
regulations. This study uses qualitative methods, and use primary and secondary data
as data sources. The data will be analyzed by descriptive analysis and content analysis
methods. Results of the observation are compared with the regulations and
complemented by stakeholders perception about BSD Street Circuits safety. This
research proves that BSD Street Circuit is not comply yet with the regulations even
though there have been some tolerance given. Therefore, the current condition of BSD
Street Circuit is not safe for racing. The results of this study can be used as a
recommendation for BSD Street Circuit. The recommendation from this study form as
a principle design of the components that are not in accordance with the regulations
and for the components that already appropriate but require an evaluations. |
