Description
Summary:The status of sanitation and waste water treatment as a form of basic facilities in residential areas varies in each region. Some areas have good waste water treatment, on the other hand some regional segments still lack access to sanitation facilities and have poor wastewater treatment. This condition is the problem that we face together at the national level. The city of Bandung itself, for the fulfillment of wastewater sanitation has only reached 54.14% (BPS, 2018). In accordance with the mandate of the SDGs, the government established the 2015- 2019 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJM) with the target of 100-0-100, one of which is the achievement of 100%. To achive the target, national government conducted Community-Based Sanitation (Sanimas) from Islamic Development Bank (IDB) funding which supports the development of sanitation facilities and domestic wastewater treatment with sustainable principles, including in the city of Bandung. Previous studies on the Community-Based Sanitation program indicate the low achievement of sustainability criteria. Achieving sustainability is not easy because it needs to focus on various aspects; economic, environmental, social, institutional and technical.Tthis study has analyzed the location of the implementation of the Sanimas IDB 2018 Bandung City to identify the success-measure of the Sanimas IDB sustainability criteria carried out by multidimensional scaling assessment. It was found that the achievement of the sustainability criteria of Sanimas IDB in Bandung was in Sukamiskin Village 61.22%, Sukawarna Village 55.18%, Margasari Village 65.57%, Lebak Siliwangi Village 42.48%, Cisaranten Wetan Village 65.6% and Pasirwangi Village 39 15%. So that efforts are needed to improve its success-measures towards universal access to sustainable water sanitation.
