Cikapundung River has a very important function and role for the development of the city of Bandung, because this river functions as a source of water for PDAM Bandung City, a place to maintain fish for residents around the river banks, and as a power plant (PLTA Bengkok). Human activities make the river as a place for flushing and disposal of domestic and municipal waste, making this river polluted and polluting the surrounding groundwater. Groundwater around the Cikapundung River is still widely used as a source of water to meet people's daily needs such as drinking, bathing and washing clothes. The results of the research carried out since 2016 - 2019, the interaction of groundwater and river water in the Cihampelas segment shows results, namely groundwater entering the river flow. This can be seen from several conditions including pH, TDS, EC, and heavy metals contained in Well and Springs in the Cihampelas segment not significantly affected by pH, TDS, EC, and heavy metals contained in the Cikapundung River Water. In addition, the continuous pollution occurring on the Cikapundung River should cause the value of physical parameters and chemical parameters of the Cikapundung River water quality including the heavy metal content in the Cikapundung River to be worse but the results obtained on the contrary, the physical and chemical parameters of Cikapundung river water show relatively still good quality. This happened because the Cikapundung River occured good dilution because of the intake of groundwater or dilution due to rain water which was quite high intensity in the city of Bandung. text
