nailpolish made from gelling agents (HPMC, Viscolam, and Carbopol), triethanolamine, methyl
paraben, propyl paraben, propylene glycol, ethanol, Henna?s extract, and aquadest?Optimization
of formulation included variation of gelling agent, ethanol, and triethanolamine?s content. F9 is
the best formula that consists of 5% Viscolam MAC 10; 1,6 mL triethanolamine; 0,15% methyl
paraben- ?,?????propyl paraben- ?????propylene glycol- ?,??????Henna?s extract- ??????ethanol- and ad
100% aquadest. Waterbased nailpolish?s evaluation are organoleptic, application, solubility in
water, pH, viscosity, and drying time. Accelerated test done in climatic chamber (37 °C, 75% RH)
for one month supposed to check the stability of pH, viscosity, and drying time?Evaluation?s result
showed us that F9 can be applied well, has pH 7,1±0,08, viscosity 227,84±23,66 cp, and drying
time 12,43±3,23 minutes.
