Global crisis knocking over world to cause the price of oil rising drastically. Increase of the price of oil will cause direct operating cost also increases. Besides, extravagant fuel consumption at aeroplane causes the breakdown ozone layer which can endanger human life. One of method applied to lessen direct operating cost is with conservation fuel conservation program. This research aim to know conservation program of fuel done at air transport firm of Garuda Indonesia where strategy applied in conservation program of this fuel is operation aspect of air transport. Data applied is air transport data of route Cengkareng ( CGK) - Denpasar ( DPS) in March 2009. But in execution of conservation program of consumption of fuel required a system to monitor fuel conservation strategys performance. Result of research indicates that level of success of conservation program of fuel at air transport firm of Garuda Indonesia have been good enough. This thing is visible from monitoring program done, where conservation strategy done has as according to procedure applied.
