Summary:West Java is one of province that have a three destination priority, and nine area of development national destination. Tangkuban parahu and Kawah Putih are became one of the priority destination. These destination are marked as the priority destination because these destination are the highest and increased the visitor year by year. Realized that two destination are the priority considered to have a destination competitiveness advantage. Destination competitiveness advantage in accordance with the program according to RIPPARNAS is revitalization tourist attraction and to develop competitiveness advantage tourism. Viewed from development of tourism destination there are issues and phenomenon about the problems main in tourism is doesnt have the icon of tourism in west java and powerless competitiveness advantage. Issues and phenomena can conclude to one major problem is competitiveness advantage in tourism. The first step to be done is seeing perception of tourists and stakeholders in order to know the competitiveness tourism and can he formulated development strategy in both destination. Aspects of this research are specifics in two aspects are main attraction with several variables namely physiography and climate, culture and history, activities, special events, entertainment, superstructure, market ties and the other aspect is supporting factors with infrastructure variable. Methodolgy in this research using a combination of quantitative and qualitative or mix-method. The quantitative approach to analyze factors competitiveness advantage from the tourists and stakeholders side using the online questionnaire and interview. While a qualitative approach used to be the basis for strategies development in both destination. The analysis for this research using competitiveness monitor which can indicate the competitiveness advantage tourism using score & color. This analyze can known the factors most influences in competitiveness advantage in both destination. The v result of this research indicates that Kawah Putih more competitive than Tangkuban parahu.
