Summary:The formal education system in Indonesia nowadays uses a method that lacks in developing the personality, creativity, and morals of the students. School of Nature offers an educational concept that is close to nature, with an education method that focuses on the student’s personality development, moral, and creativity. Sentul City attempted to actualize an education facility with international standard that integrates its education with nature, by allocating a site to be develop into a nature themed education facility that will be build into Sentul City School of Nature. The site is located in Karangtengah Valley district, with a contour that varied, that could be both a potential and a problem that needs solutions with design. The design process was conducted through designing the spaces that could accommodate the teaching and learning activities maximally, both the inner spaces and the outer spaces, by understanding the condition of the site throughoutly and analyze the education method of School of Nature, then identify the needs of space. The overall design concept is Harmony of Difference within Sameness. The word Harmony is embodied with the landscape configuration that aims to be in harmony with the surrounding nature, the use of environmentally friendly and sustainable material, and the configuration of building mass that is integrated one to another. The Difference within Sameness is embodied with the design of educational spaces that provides a condusive atmosphere, but has an adequate amount of variety that could stimulate the student’s censory and optimize their learning process, indoor and outdoor.
