Sampling data from the years 2013-2015 conducted in 16 stations spread around the waters of the Banten Bay. The method used in this research data processing by analyzing and reviewing the oceanographic parameters and then classified into trophic status index. From the research classification based on the trophic status of oceanographic parameters for marine water quality Banten Bay waters have mesotrofik classification for nitrate with value 0.675 mg/L and phosphate with a value 1 mg/L, oligotrophic for chlorophyll-a with values 1.35 ?g/L and the abundance of plankton with values 2.333.064 ind / mL, whereas eutrophic for the transparency parameter with the value 400 cm. Currently used methods Trophic Status Index TRIX show that it is nearly equal. Where the dominant trophic status in the waters of the Banten Bay is mesotrofik with the score 4-5 for the trophic status index value TRIX. This shows if Banten Bay have a good contion waters of tropic (mesotrofik). text
