The plain of semarang city mainly consisting by marine-lacustrine and terrestrial deposites, had produced of aquifer in the valley with a high productivity.<p align=\"justify\"> Since 1982 groundwater extraction was increased, which shows a continually increasing industrial development and for supplying drinking water by municipal, appropriate with the development. Extraction of groundwater have 2.400 m3/year, which is amount of bor well 178, continually increasing until 1993 to be 80.000 mm/year which is amount of bor well 900.<p align=\"justify\"> Heavy pumping of groundwater have affected of negative impact that was dedine of static water table, reaced 2.2 m/year in the center of cone depression ( central of city - Tambaklorog ). Decreasing of water table had caused also land subsidence and sea water intrusion in the alluvial deposite.<p align=\"justify\"> From the result of the subsidence simulation to found of 1.5 cm/year at the Port - Tambaklorog, 0.9 cm/year at the Simpanglima, 1.1 cm/year at the P3B, 1.0 cm/year at the STM Perkapalan and 0.6 cm/year at the Kaligawe.<p align=\"justify\"> Potencies of groundwater from the calculated result in the catchment area, Semarang region amount of infiltration has 271.110.411 ma/year. Groundwater exploited was increased so fast in the plain has 90.000.000 mm/year, caused of sea water intrusion and fenomenon of land subsidence.<p align=\"justify\"> The problems of decreasing static water table and land subsidence to tried for made the Model to provide ilustration for future, so that be able to help of lay out for development City planning. text |
