Summary:Millet are group of small-seeded grasses that has been used as cereal crops or grains for animal feed and human food. In Indonesia, millet commonly use as animal feed such as birds. There are two kinds of millet that had been used, white milet and foxtail milet. Extraction of seed oil had been done with maceration method and obtained white milet seed oil (2,8625% v/w) and foxtail millet seed oil (2,438% v/w). Fermentation had been done using Aspergillus terreus to determined the effect of fermentation to fatty acid composition in white milet and foxtailmilet seed oil. HPLC is used to analyze the fatty acid composition. Derivatization is perfomed by using p-bromophenacyl bromide (PBPB) and 18-crown-6-ether. The results of the analysis are that white milet seed oil contains linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and linolenic acid. Foxtail milet seed oil contains linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid, and linolenic acid. Fermentation of white milet causes a decrease in unsaturated fatty acids and fermentation of the foxtail milet ¸?±?????????????ãð????± ?????¸ð»»±????±?®± »?????????????? ????ð????????ð® ? ? ?????????ð????.
