This study conducted a full scale lateral loading test with 2x3 pile configuration. The type of foundation is a bored pile with a diameter 30 cm. Then the full scale lateral loading test result are modeled with the Group program. Determination parameters for the Group modeling program by back-calculation that are in accordance with the actual condition of the field. Soil parameter are dominated by clay. After obtaining the apropriate soil parameters, piles modeling with variant number of piles and pile spacing. Number of pile varies between 2x3, 3x3, 5x5, 7x7 and 9x9. The Piles spacing are tried to determine the effect on lateral capacity. The variation range is 2.5D, 3D, 5D and 10D. The result of study show that the more number of piles, the smaller value of pile lateral efficiency. In addition, variations in piles spacing also have a dominant impact. The closer piles spacing, the smaller pile lateral efficiency. Pile spacing above 5D have result for group piles efficiency relatively give a minor effect. text |
