Wellbore stability is one of the issue that is often encountered during drilling activity at the zone. Geomechanical parameter analyses is conducted to understand the geomechanical parameters that affect into the wellbore stability at Tunu shallow zone. The analyses is performed by calculate vertical stress (Sv), pore pressure (Pp), minimum horizontal stress (Shmin), maximum horizontal stress (SHmax), stress orientation and regime, elasticity of rock, and rock strength. Shear failure gradient (SFG) as the result of wellbore stability analyses with Mohr-Coulomb criterion, is applied as the minimum mud weight to be used in drilling activity. From the geomechanical parameters that had been analized, rock strength and direction of the well is the most influenced parameter for wellbore stability at Tunu shallow zone. text
