Capacitance-Resistance Model (CRM) is a tool that has been developed to carry out a quick reservoir behavior modeling which only requires bottom hole pressure data and liquid rate. This study aims to evaluate CRM parameters in a waterflooded field originally with inverted five spot injection pattern. The field that is evaluated is a synthetic field generated using IMEX-CMG software. Parameters evaluation is done before and after the injection pattern realignment takes place. The right pattern realignment is sought to maximize the cumulative oil production. CRM Injector-Producer (CRMIP) is chosen as the control volume to characterize the reservoir behavior because CRMIP consider the affected pore volume of any pair of injector-producer. The relationship of every well is shown by inter-well connectivity and production response delay, modeling result using CRM method is then evaluated to observe the oil fraction of the total liquid production. The evaluation result indicates that CRM parameters show an alteration before and after the realignment process. This study hopefully can aid in performing quick reservoir modeling in the future text
