Pengaruh Jumlah Sumur Terhadap Keekonomian Lapangan Panas Bumi Dominasi Air di Indonesia

Indonesia has the world's highest geothermal reserve of 28.5 GW worth of total resources and reserves potential. The Indonesian government sets an installed capacity target of 7,242 MW per 2025, after earlier in 2016 Indonesia has an installed capacity of 1,375 MW. One of the challenges to achi...

The Indonesian government sets an installed capacity target of 7,242 MW per 2025, after earlier in 2016 Indonesia has an installed capacity of 1,375 MW. One of the challenges to achieve the target is to convince the developers that investing in Indonesia's geothermal industry would be profitable, thus enabling the geothermal business to run. This study would presents an economic analysis of undeveloped water dominated geothermal field by making a graph of the relationship between the number of wells to the field capacity that are going to be developed. Case studies are conducted on potential fields to be developed in the category of potential resources and adequate reserves and already included into the Geothermal Working Area / WKP to be auctioned. From these fields, one field has been chosen to represent the West Indonesia region and two fields to represent East Indonesia. The chosen field to represent West Indonesia region is WKP Geureudong, located in Aceh, which has a projected capacity of 55 MW. The other two fields that have been chosen to represent East Indonesia region are WKP Kotamobagu, located in North Sulawesi and WKP Jailolo, located in North Maluku. These fields have projected generating capacity of 80 MW and 20 MW respectively. The results of geothermal project economic modelling that has been done for the PLTP of Jailolo with a projected capacity of 20 MW requires a capital total cost of 6.62 million US $ / MW with Net Present Value / NPV and Internal Rate of Return / IRR respectively 162.1 million US $ and 21.30 % at an electricity price 20 cent US$/kWh. For the PLTP of Geureudong with a projected capacity of 55 MW requires a capital total cost of 4.62 million US $ / MW with NPV and IRR respectively 223.2 million US $ and 18.20 % at an electricity price 11.14 cent US$/kWh. And for the PLTP of Kotamobagu with a projected capacity of 80 MW requires a capital total cost of 5.48 million US $ / MW with NPV and IRR respectively 369.4 million US $ and 18.11 % at an electricity price 13 cent US$/kWh. text
