| Summary: | Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) is one of the favourite university in Indonesia that has 12 faculties. ITB is known to have a big amount of male students rather than females. This research was done by doing several interviews with female students from 4 faculties that are FTTM, FTMD, SF, and FSRD. FTTM and FTMD are a part of male-dominated faculty meanwhile SF and FSRD are from the female-dominated faculty. This research is done to study the study experience of female students in male-dominated faculties and compared to the female students in female-dominated faculties. Initial Coding and Axial Coding Method is used to analyse the data that has been gathered trough the interview. This study found that there are different behaviors of male students in male-dominated faculties with male students in female-dominated faculties towards the female students. In study experiences, female students from both male and female-dominated faculties are still similar and it happens to be the same with how they manage their stress. This article will give the reader insights about the behaviors of female students in male and female-dominated environment and how male students behave from the perspective of the female students in this study. |
