The purpo se of this final project is to projection the hazard for 2020 to 2050 with various scenarios of hazard due to sea level rise and create a hazard map based on the scenario. This research uses some data processing to see the variation of sea level change based on the effect of tidal event, El-Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO), Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD), Madden Julian Oscillation (MJO) and storm surge. Preparation of hazard scenarios based on the results of data processing to determine the value of potential hazards due to sea level rise, with including some other hazard factors such as the rate of land subsidence and inland flooding. The final step is to create a hazard map in accordance with the scenario that has been created using of Geographic Information System (GIS). Based on the 15 SLR hazard scenarios for 2020 to 2040, the hazard scenario with the highest frequency of 33,33% is scenario 1 (SLR+MHWL/HHWL+variation of MSL+LS) resulted in a high inundation of 184,9-342,3 cm above MSL, while the most extreme high are obtained from scenario 15 (SLR+MHWL/HHWL+variation of MSL+LS+B+MJO+LN) resulted in a high inundation 271,1-408,9 cm above MSL with frequency of 3,57%. text |

A hazard assessment due to sea level rise (SLR) in North Jakarta was conducted to
determine the events that could increase the potential hazard. The northern part of the North
Jakarta is bordered by the Java Sea, causing the area to have great potential to be affected
by the hazard of sea level rise. The purpo se of this final project is to projection the hazard
for 2020 to 2050 with various scenarios of hazard due to sea level rise and create a hazard
map based on the scenario.
This research uses some data processing to see the variation of sea level change based
on the effect of tidal event, El-Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO), Indian Ocean Dipole
(IOD), Madden Julian Oscillation (MJO) and storm surge. Preparation of hazard scenarios
based on the results of data processing to determine the value of potential hazards due to
sea level rise, with including some other hazard factors such as the rate of land subsidence
and inland flooding. The final step is to create a hazard map in accordance with the scenario
that has been created using of Geographic Information System (GIS).
Based on the 15 SLR hazard scenarios for 2020 to 2040, the hazard scenario with the
highest frequency of 33,33% is scenario 1 (SLR+MHWL/HHWL+variation of MSL+LS)
resulted in a high inundation of 184,9-342,3 cm above MSL, while the most extreme high
are obtained from scenario 15 (SLR+MHWL/HHWL+variation of MSL+LS+B+MJO+LN)
resulted in a high inundation 271,1-408,9 cm above MSL with frequency of 3,57%. |
