INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/45583 Props was made to observe the coefficient of kinetic friction depending on the rate. The system in this research is a beam that is made silent on wheels that spin at a relatively constant speed. The variation in wheel rotation rate is done by changing the voltage value of the system by 1.5 volts, 3 volts, 4.5 volts, 6 volts, 7.5 volts, and 9 volts. This voltage generates a speed in the range of 0.4 m/s to 1.3 m/s. The results of this study show that the variation in the rate affects the large shear forces that work between the load and wheel surfaces, the higher the wheel rate the larger the kinetic friction coefficient is obtained. Used precision analysis and accuracy tests to see the level of precision and accuracy of the tools used. The precision test results of the props are less than 5% so that the tools used are capable of delivering the same measurements during measurement repetition, as well as the accuracy analysis shows that the experiment results with reference values provide an average relative error value of 3.161%. text
