Summary: | Indonesia as a developing country and a large country, the construction sector in Indonesia is very important in the context of national development. Various kinds of facilities continue to be built in order to fulfill and support various needs from both the government and private sectors, such as the construction of oil refineries, smelters, airports, roads, bridges, power plants, dams, skyscrapers, and various other infrastructure. To support and meet the infrastructure and construction needs, accurate geotechnical analysis and calculations are needed. PT. A is a company that provides topographic survey services, geotechnical analysis and geotechnical testing both in the field and in laboratories that have been established for more than 20 years.
PT. A has a good company performance, as evidenced by the increase in company profit every year. However, the increase in the company's turnover has not been able to reach the targets set by the directors as a long-term vision of the company. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the company's business strategy to face competition in the engineering services business, achieve the company's vision targets and obtain sustainable business.
Internal and external analysis of the company is conducted to evaluate the company's performance, determine the conditions of business competition among competitors. VRIO test, SWOT analysis, IFAS, EFAS, Porter's five forces analysis, PESTEL analysis are done as a basis for the formulation of strategies to determine the company's business strategy based on TOWS matrix, QSPM analysis, functional strategy and business model canvas
