The era of digital disruption requires industry players to continue to innovate. PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. (Telkom), which is in this industry often have to make various adjustments. In dealing with these rapid changes, surely it is very necessary to have reliable human resources, or in this case talents who can lead and manage these changes. This change requires humans who are agile and resistant to change itself. This research aims to help Telkom formulate new competencies and redesign their training or leadership development programs. Adjusting competencies and leadership development programs is expected to be a solution to be prepared to deal with, handle and manage these changes properly. In this study, this research conducted a literature review on several competency recommendations, especially leadership competencies that will be needed in the present and future. In addition, this research also benchmarks some of the best practices in finding new method of practicing Leadership Development Program (LDP) from several well-known companies or institutions. From the results of the analysis, it was found several competencies that were considered to be less relevant, and the need to add some competencies that were relevant for future needs. The same is true for leadership development programs, the need for changes and adjustments to produce the expected results. The changes which made are in the competence and leadership development program through in-depth interview with leaders from Telkom Corporate University. The formulation of competency and the design of a new leadership development program enables Telkom employees to increase Human Capital readiness and improve performance and results to be better prepared to cope with digital transformation. text |
